Rigging Level - 1 Training
An eight-hour interactive course that gives the students a foundation that they can rely on in there everyday rigging practices. The program consists of six hours of theory and two hours of practical training that includes but is not limited to rigging inspection, and rigging multiple different loads demonstrating hitches, hardware application, taglines and multiple leg lifts, to ignite your potential in the field. No prerequisite is required.

Understanding the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations and Code
Rigging Components - applications and limitations (web slings, wire rope slings, chain slings, polyester round slings, shackles, eyebolts, swivel hoist rings, hooks etc.) .
Below the Hook Devices - application and limitations (Spreader Bars, Plate Clamps, Beam Clamps, Barrel Lifters, Magnets, Vacuum Lifter, etc.)
Hand Operated Hoists - application and limitations (Lever Hoists, and Hand Chain Hoists)
How to determine Load Weights and Centre of Gravity
Understanding Sling Tension and calculations
Hand Signals, Taglines, No Touch Tools
