Cranemasters Overhead Crane & Rigging Level 1 course is a 8-hour interactive program that combines our Overhead Crane Operator and Rigging Level 1 courses. Includes six hours of theory and two hours of practical training.

  • Below the Hook Devices - application and limitations (Spreader Bars, Plate Clamps, Beam Clamps, Barrel Lifters, Magnets, Vacuum Lifter, etc.)

  • Hand Operated Hoists - application and limitations (Lever Hoists, and Hand Chain Hoists)

  • How to determine Load Weights and Centre of Gravity

  • Understanding Sling Tension and calculations

  • Hand Signals, Taglines, No Touch Tools
